The risk

The expiry date is not the whole problem. The follow-up gets lost.

  • !PDFs land in inboxes, then someone has to update the sheet and remember who owns each renewal.
  • !Vendors rarely self-notify when a policy renews, so 45-day and 30-day follow-ups become office work.
  • !Expired and short COIs hide in the same tracker as clean ones until a job, audit, or claim forces the scramble.
How it works

Three steps, no portal to learn.

1

Upload the PDF

Drop in an ACORD 25 certificate. No data entry, no logins for your vendors.

2

We check the limits

CertSimple reads the policy and compares it to your required GL, Auto, and WC limits automatically.

3

Get PASS, FAIL, or a warning

A clear result per vendor, plus an in-app expiry flag when coverage is inside the 45-day window.

What you get

Built for the person who actually chases the COIs.

The whole certificate, read for you

Insured, carrier, each policy line, limits, and expiry pulled straight from the PDF and checked against your rules. No re-typing into a spreadsheet.

Required-limit checks

Set GL, Auto, and WC minimums once. Every COI is graded against them.

Expiry tracking

Certificates due inside 45 days are flagged in the tracker so renewal follow-up is visible.

Email-only access

Private to your signed-in workspace. No vendor accounts, no shared logins.

Clear pass / fail

One status per vendor with the exact reasons, ready to forward.

Who it is for

Lean teams who collect COIs but do not want an insurance platform.

General contractors, property managers, and vendor managers tracking dozens of certificates by hand. CertSimple is the one tool that just answers "does this COI meet our tracked requirements, and until when?"

Questions

What file types do you read?

Standard ACORD 25 certificate PDFs, up to 8 MB. Most carriers and brokers issue exactly this format.

Do my vendors need an account?

No. You upload the PDF you already received. There are no vendor logins or portals.

How do the limit checks work?

You set your required minimums (for example GL $1M/$2M, Auto $1M, WC $500K). Every certificate is graded against them and flagged if it falls short.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Sign in with the checkout email and use Cancel subscription in the account header. Cancellation is scheduled for the end of the paid period, so access stays active through the time already paid for. Email support@mnac.io for refund help.

Is PASS or FAIL legal or insurance advice?

No. CertSimple's PASS, FAIL, expiring, and expired statuses are informational tracking flags only. They are not legal advice, insurance advice, or a guarantee of coverage, claim acceptance, contract compliance, or carrier approval.

What happens if checkout or access fails?

Email support@mnac.io with the checkout email and "CertSimple access" in the subject. We will resend access or issue the 14-day refund if the workspace cannot be opened.

Support: support@mnac.io. Keep PDFs in CertSimple rather than emailing certificates to support unless we ask for a redacted sample.

Important: CertSimple is not an insurance broker, carrier, or legal adviser. It reads standard ACORD 25 PDFs and flags limits and expiry against the stated requirements, but PASS/FAIL status is informational only and is not legal or insurance advice or a guarantee of coverage.

Refunds and cancellation: Cancel subscriptions from the account screen. Access stays active through the paid period. Lisa, the CertSimple support owner, handles refund requests sent to support@mnac.io. The first 14 days are refundable.

Privacy: COIs are private to the signed-in workspace. We do not ask vendors to create accounts.

Affiliation: CertSimple is not affiliated with or endorsed by ACORD or any insurance carrier. ACORD and carrier names are used only to describe common certificate formats.

Stop chasing certificates by hand.
